Job Description
Nakaseke District Service Commission is hiring an Assistant Vector Control Officer for full-time employment in Nakaseke District. This role falls under the Health Services Department, where the focus is on preventing and managing disease outbreaks through effective vector control measures.
Reporting to the Vector Control Supervisor, the Assistant Vector Control Officer will support the implementation of surveillance, prevention, and control programs for vector-borne diseases. Daily tasks include conducting field inspections, collecting and analyzing data, and participating in community awareness campaigns. The officer will also assist in distributing control materials like insecticides and bed nets, ensuring proper usage and storage.
