TMT Supermarket is seeking dedicated and customer-focused Butchery Attendants to join our team at the Muyenga Branch. Handling meat preparation, display, and customer service in the butchery.

As a Butchery Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of food hygiene, precise meat cutting and preparation, attractive display arrangement, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is punctual, maintains strict cleanliness standards, adheres to health and safety regulations, and contributes to providing a great shopping experience for all supermarket customers.

Key Responsibilities

Handling meat preparation, display, and customer service in the butchery.
Maintaining clean, hygienic, and sanitized workstations, equipment, and counter displays.
Assisting customers with meat selection, weighing, packaging, and pricing accurately.
Monitoring stock levels and ensuring proper stock rotation to maintain product freshness.

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a butchery, meat processing section, or retail environment is an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of meat cuts, food safety procedures, and hygiene guidelines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-friendly attitude.
Possession of a National ID and relevant academic certificates.
