Amarorwot Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and qualified Certificate Nurse to join our healthcare team in a drug shop located within Gulu City. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering quality primary healthcare services, dispensing medications accurately, providing sound health education, and supporting patient wellness across the local community.

Key Responsibilities

Dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions and official treatment guidelines.
Provide clear advice and counseling to patients regarding proper dosage, administration, and potential drug side effects.
Conduct basic health assessments, monitor client vitals, and offer emergency first-aid care when required.
Maintain accurate records of stock levels, patient consultations, and drug shop transactions.
Ensure the drug shop remains clean, hygienic, organized, and compliant with national health regulations.
Support community healthcare initiatives and promote preventive health practices among clients.

Qualifications

Certificate in Nursing or Enrolled Nurse qualification from a recognized institution.
Active registration and valid practicing license with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.
Prior experience working in a drug shop, pharmacy, or community health clinic is desirable.
Strong understanding of pharmacological products, dosage protocols, and patient safety guidelines.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and patient communication skills.
