We are seeking a skilled Cold Chain Technician to join our team in maintaining and optimizing cold chain systems critical for healthcare operations. The role involves ensuring the proper functioning of refrigeration and cold storage equipment to preserve medical supplies and vaccines. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a commitment to maintaining high standards in healthcare logistics.

We are currently recruiting a Cold Chain Technician at NEW VISION to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day responsibilities, work closely with colleagues across departments, and contribute to the continued success of the organisation. Key Responsibilities

Maintain and repair cold chain equipment including refrigerators, freezers, and cold rooms
Monitor temperature and humidity levels to ensure compliance with health standards
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on cold chain systems
Document and report equipment malfunctions and repairs
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure uninterrupted cold chain operations

Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or related field
Proven experience in cold chain management or similar technical role
Knowledge of healthcare cold chain standards and regulations
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
