Job Description

A clinic located in Keicumu, Kazo is seeking a dedicated Enrolled Midwife to join its healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide essential maternal, neonatal, and primary care services to patients. This full-time role offers a monthly salary of UGX 270,000 along with full accommodation and feeding provided on-site. Applicants should possess practical experience in midwifery and demonstrate a compassionate approach to patient care.

An opportunity has arisen for a Enrolled Midwife based in Keicumu, Kazo.

Working within a supportive team, the post-holder will be expected to plan and prioritise their own workload, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and maintain high standards in every task. Previous experience in a comparable position is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to expectant mothers and newborns.
Conduct safe deliveries and monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor.
Administer prescribed medications, immunizations, and clinical care in adherence to health standards.
Maintain accurate patient files and routine clinic record-keeping.
Educate patients and community members on reproductive health and family planning.

Qualifications

Certificate in Midwifery from a recognized nursing school or institution.
Registration and valid practicing license from the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.
Demonstrated prior working experience in a clinic or health facility setting.
Strong patient management, communication, and basic emergency care skills.
