Job Description

A private medical clinic located in Kitengesa, Masaka is urgently seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and qualified Enrolled Nurse to join its clinical team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for a healthcare professional who is passionate about community health and delivering high-quality patient care in a clinic setting.

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for supporting daily clinical operations, administering medications, monitoring patient vitals, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all patients. The clinic serves a diverse local population, offering you a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on community wellbeing.

This is a full-time, on-site position. The successful candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary of UGX 300,000, along with a daily allowance of UGX 5,000 to assist with day-to-day living expenses. To support your transition, comfortable on-site accommodation is fully provided by the employer.

Key Responsibilities

Administer prescribed medications and treatments to clinic patients.
Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
Assist medical doctors and clinical officers during patient examinations and minor procedures.
Maintain clean, sterile, and well-organized clinical spaces and equipment.
Provide compassionate bedside care and basic health education to patients and their families.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and medical histories.

Qualifications

Must hold a Certificate in Enrolled Nursing from a recognized institution.
Must be registered with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC) with a valid practicing license.
Strong clinical skills and a genuine passion for patient-centered healthcare.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Willingness to relocate and work on-site in Kitengesa, Masaka.
