A reputable drug shop located in Mbale is seeking to recruit a qualified and dedicated female Nurse to manage daily healthcare and pharmaceutical services. This role is ideal for a compassionate nursing professional with practical experience working in a drug shop or community pharmacy setup, possessing valid academic credentials and nursing papers.

As the resident Nurse, you will interact directly with patients, offer medical guidance, dispense prescribed and over-the-counter medicines, and maintain meticulous stock records. Success in this position requires excellent patient care, clear communication, and strong organizational skills to maintain safe health standards. The employment package includes a monthly salary of 200,000 UGX, full accommodation, and daily meals, offering a convenient living and working arrangement in Mbale.

Key Responsibilities

Dispense over-the-counter and prescribed medical products safely and accurately to clients.
Provide preliminary medical advice, consultation, and drug dosage guidelines to patients.
Maintain proper inventory records, monitoring stock levels and expiry dates of pharmaceuticals.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with healthcare regulatory standards within the drug shop.
Handle day-to-day customer inquiries and maintain clear records of sales and transactions.

Qualifications

Valid Nursing Certificate, Diploma, or relevant medical credentials ("papers").
Prior practical experience working in a drug shop or community pharmacy environment.
Must be currently based in or willing to relocate to Mbale.
Strong interpersonal, customer service, and patient communication skills.
