Job Description

TMT Supermarket is hiring for multiple positions at its Muyenga Branch as part of a mass recruitment drive. Roles include Fresh Produce Attendants, Bakery Attendants, Cooks (for staff meals), Butchery Attendants, and Cold Room Attendants. Candidates will work in a fast-paced retail environment, ensuring high-quality customer service and efficient operations.

An opportunity has arisen for a Fresh Produce Attendants, Bakery Attendants, Cooks, Butchery Attendants, Cold Room Attendants at TMT Supermarket based in Muyenga Branch, Tank Hill Road.

Working within a supportive team, the post-holder will be expected to plan and prioritise their own workload, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and maintain high standards in every task. Previous experience in a comparable position is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Assist customers and ensure product availability in respective departments
Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas
Handle food and produce with adherence to safety standards
Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

Minimum O-Level Certificate (UCE) for operational roles
Diploma or relevant qualification for Supervisors and Data Entrants
Prior experience in retail, supermarket operations, or customer service is advantageous
High integrity, good communication, and teamwork skills
