Job Description

UGANET, a national NGO with over 20 years of experience in advocating for health, human rights, and gender equality in Uganda, is seeking a GBV Case Worker to join their refugee response team. The role involves providing critical support and case management for survivors of gender-based violence across multiple refugee settlements in Uganda.

We are currently recruiting a GBV Case Worker at UGANET based in Multiple locations: Adjumani, Palorinya, Palabek, Kiryandongo, Rhino Camp, Imvepi, Bidibidi, Nakivale, Oruchinga, Kyangwali to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day responsibilities, work closely with colleagues across departments, and contribute to the continued success of the organisation. This role suits someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct support and case management to GBV survivors
Ensure confidentiality and safeguarding in all interactions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
Conduct assessments and develop individualized support plans
Maintain accurate records and submit timely reports

Qualifications

Relevant education and experience in social work, psychology, or related field
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality
Good organization and reporting skills
Respect for diverse communities
