Job Description

UGANET, a national NGO with over 20 years of experience in advocating for health, human rights, and gender equality in Uganda, is seeking a Legal Officer to join their team. The role is part of UGANET's refugee response programming, focusing on legal aid and community empowerment across multiple settlements in Uganda.

An opportunity has arisen for a Legal Officer at UGANET based in Multiple settlements: Adjumani, Palorinya, Palabek, Kiryandongo, Rhino Camp, Imvepi, Bidibidi, Nakivale, Oruchinga, Kyangwali.

Working within a supportive team, the post-holder will be expected to plan and prioritise their own workload, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and maintain high standards in every task. Previous experience in a comparable position is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal aid and support to refugees and host communities.
