We are seeking a dedicated Midwife to join our healthcare team in Mukono Town, Uganda. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing essential maternal and newborn care, ensuring the health and well-being of mothers and infants in the community.

We are currently recruiting a Midwife based in Mukono Town, Uganda to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day responsibilities, work closely with colleagues across departments, and contribute to the continued success of the organisation. This role suits someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to mothers
Assist in deliveries and manage emergency obstetric situations
Conduct health education sessions for expectant and new mothers
Monitor maternal and newborn health, identifying and addressing potential issues
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

Certified Midwife with a valid license to practice in Uganda
Proven experience in maternal and newborn care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
