We are seeking a dedicated Midwife to join our team in Gomba District, Uganda. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing essential maternal and newborn care services to the community.

We are currently recruiting a Midwife at SHF@SH CAREER HUB based in Gomba District, Uganda to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day responsibilities, work closely with colleagues across departments, and contribute to the continued success of the organisation. This role suits someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Provide antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care to mothers and newborns
Conduct deliveries and manage complications
Educate mothers on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications

Certified Midwife with a valid license
Age between 20–27 years
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to providing high-quality care
