Lead RRD's operations, integrating Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Admin into a single, well-run function. The role provides critical cross-functional support to Program, Engineering, and Construction teams, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget. It requires an operational leader to help the organization manage rapid growth by embedding sound financial and administrative controls while maintaining agility.

As the Operations Manager based in Nansana, you will serve as the strategic driver of operational excellence across all administrative and support functions. By aligning daily workflows with broader organizational goals, you will ensure seamless team coordination, mitigate operational risks, and optimize resource deployment to support sustainable water projects across Uganda.

Our organisation is seeking a suitably qualified Operations Manager at The Ugandan Water Project (UWP) / Red Rhino Development (RRD) / AquaTrust based in Nansana, Uganda.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and integrate Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Administration into a single, cohesive, and efficient operational unit.
Provide critical cross-functional support to Program, Engineering, and Construction teams to ensure project delivery remains on time and within budget.
Establish, implement, and reinforce sound financial and administrative controls across all departments.
Develop scalable organizational systems, operational workflows, and performance management frameworks to support rapid organizational growth.
Maintain operational agility while driving process optimization and accountability.

Qualifications

5+ years of leadership experience with a proven track record of leading an organization or enterprise through growth or transformation.
Strong business and financial acumen.
Demonstrated experience developing systems, processes, and performance management frameworks.
