We are seeking a dedicated Overseer Housekeeping to join our team at Kinyara Sugar Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and orderliness within the facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors.

An opportunity has arisen for a Overseer Housekeeping at Kinyara Sugar Uganda based in Plot 31, Block 9 & 10, Bujenje, Masindi.

Working within a supportive team, the post-holder will be expected to plan and prioritise their own workload, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and maintain high standards in every task. Previous experience in a comparable position is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise housekeeping staff and ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures
Monitor and manage the use of cleaning supplies and equipment
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Train and mentor housekeeping staff to improve performance and efficiency

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong leadership and management skills
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
