Job Description

Ruby Hospital is looking for a qualified and highly skilled Radiographer to join our dynamic medical imaging department in Kampala. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in performing X-rays, CT scans, and Ultrasound procedures, with a strong focus on diagnostic accuracy and patient comfort. In this role, you will collaborate with other medical professionals, maintain high-quality imaging records, and deliver exceptional clinical support across various hospital departments, including emergency and ICU.

We are currently recruiting a Radiographer at Ruby Hospital based in 40, Lugogo Bypass Road, Kampala to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day responsibilities, work closely with colleagues across departments, and contribute to the continued success of the organisation. This role suits someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Produce high-quality diagnostic images and maintain proper imaging records.
Handle medical imaging for emergency, ICU, inpatient, outpatient, and theatre/OT cases.
Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with doctors, nurses, and other hospital departments.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of experience in handling all X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound procedures, including Doppler, HSG, and fluoroscopy.
Must have a valid practicing license.
Must hold a Degree in Radiography or a related field.
Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images and maintain proper imaging records.
Experience handling emergency, ICU, inpatient, outpatient, and theatre/OT cases would be an advantage.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also working effectively with doctors, nurses, and other departments.
Good communication and patient-care skills.
Must be based in or around Kampala.
Full-time availability: Willing to work full-time, including night shifts when required.
Immediate availability or a short notice period would be an advantage.
