Job Description

Igongo Country Hotel & Cultural Centre is seeking two Sales Executives, one based in Kampala and one in Mbarara, to drive sales and promote the hotel's unique offerings. The successful candidates will implement sales strategies, manage client accounts, and contribute to the hotel's overall sales goals.

An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Executive (2 Positions Available) at Igongo Country Hotel & Cultural Centre.

Working within a supportive team, the post-holder will be expected to plan and prioritise their own workload, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and maintain high standards in every task. Previous experience in a comparable position is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Implement sales strategies and action plans for assigned market segments
Represent the hotel at trade shows, promotional events, and industry functions
Establish and maintain active client accounts with proper documentation
Conduct sales trips, site inspections, and client entertainment to secure business
Provide feedback on competitors and industry trends
Meet or exceed monthly booking quotas
Maintain accurate records in the hotel's Property Management System (PMS)
Prepare timely reports and ensure compliance with hotel standards, health & safety, and corporate code of conduct

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality or service industry
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to meet targets and work under pressure
Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management systems (PMS)
Willingness to travel and represent the hotel at industry events
