Job Description

Inspire Africa Group (IAG) is seeking an experienced Structural/Civil Engineer to join our dynamic Construction Department. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, structural design, and execution of complex civil engineering projects across the region.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all structural designs meet high technical standards, safety requirements, and local regulatory codes. You will collaborate closely with architects, project supervisors, and site management teams to deliver robust infrastructure and building projects efficiently. Key Responsibilities

Perform detailed structural calculations, designs, and analysis for civil engineering and building projects.
Prepare engineering specifications, structural drawings, and material schedules.
Conduct site visits, structural inspections, and quality control reviews to verify compliance with design plans.
Collaborate with architects, project managers, contractors, and client representatives throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor structural works on site to ensure compliance with health, safety, and technical standards.
Review contractor submittals, test reports, and structural integrity assessments.

Qualifications

BSc Civil/Structural Engineering.
ERB + UIPE membership (Added advantage).
