Job Description

Amron Forex Bureau is seeking a Teller to join their team in Mbarara. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately process foreign currency exchange transactions, manage cash, and provide excellent customer service to clients.

An opportunity has arisen for a Teller at Amron Forex Bureau based in Mbarara, Uganda.

Working within a supportive team, the post-holder will be expected to plan and prioritise their own workload, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and maintain high standards in every task. Previous experience in a comparable position is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Processing: Process foreign currency exchange transactions accurately and efficiently.
Cash Handling: Handle cash, verify the authenticity of notes, and balance the till at the end of each shift.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate transaction records for all exchanges and daily activities.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.

Qualifications

Education: Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Skills: Strong numerical skills, high level of integrity, and strong attention to detail.
