Fabulous Hypermarket is seeking a detail-oriented and proficient Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. We are currently recruiting a Accounts Assistant at Fabulous Hypermarket based in Namirembe Road, New Taxi Park to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day responsibilities, work closely with colleagues across departments, and contribute to the continued success of the organisation. This role suits someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Maintain and update accounting records, including accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies
Support budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Assist in audit preparations and provide necessary documentation

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
Proficiency in ERP Systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or equivalent)
Age below 30 years
