Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wooden materials to construct frameworks, cabinets, furniture, and other structures
Install structures and fixtures, ensuring they are level and secure
Repair and restore existing wooden structures and fixtures
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Collaborate with other tradespeople and professionals on construction projects

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment
Strong understanding of construction principles and techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
Physical stamina and dexterity
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Certificate or diploma in Carpentry or a related field is preferred
