Job Description
U5 Med, a healthcare provider in Nakaseke, is hiring a Clinical Officer for a full-time position. This role is based in the Health Services department, reporting directly to the Medical Officer. The Clinical Officer will work in a community-focused setting, providing essential medical care to patients.
The job involves diagnosing and treating common medical conditions, managing patient records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Daily tasks include conducting physical examinations, prescribing medications, and offering health education to patients. The Clinical Officer will also assist in minor surgical procedures and emergency care when needed.
This position suits someone with a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health or an equivalent qualification. Experience in a busy healthcare facility is advantageous. The ideal candidate is skilled in patient management, has strong communication abilities, and works well in a team. Familiarity with rural healthcare settings is beneficial.
