Job Description

A female nurse is needed to work in a clinic located in Kalungu district. The healthcare facility is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and qualified nursing professional to deliver high-quality patient care, assist medical staff, and manage routine outpatient and clinical operations. Key Responsibilities

Provide primary healthcare services, patient triaging, and nursing care in accordance with established clinical standards.
Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and vaccinations accurately.
Monitor patient vital signs, report changes in patient conditions, and maintain clear medical records.
Assist medical practitioners during patient consultations, minor procedures, and clinical examinations.
Ensure cleanliness, proper sterilization of medical instruments, and hygiene within the clinic premises.
Offer health education and counseling to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatments.

Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in Nursing or General Nursing from a recognized institution.
Must be registered with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council with a valid practicing license.
Prior working experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred.
Strong patient care, clinical assessment, and emergency handling skills.
Excellent communication and compassionate interpersonal skills.
