A reputable medical center located in Kakumiro District is urgently seeking competent and dedicated healthcare professionals to fill the positions of Midwife and Laboratory Attendant. We are currently recruiting a Midwife and Lab Attendant based in Kakumiro to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day responsibilities, work closely with colleagues across departments, and contribute to the continued success of the organisation. Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive maternal health care, including antenatal, delivery, and postnatal support.
Perform standard laboratory tests, accurately prepare samples, and record test results.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, infection control, and safety within the clinical and laboratory environments.
Keep accurate patient medical records, laboratory logs, and operational reports.
Assist in the proper storage, handling, and maintenance of medical equipment and laboratory reagents.

Qualifications

A certificate or diploma in Nursing/Midwifery or Medical Laboratory Techniques from a recognized institution.
Valid registration or enrollment with the relevant professional council in Uganda.
Proven practical experience working in a health center or clinical setting is an added advantage.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
