Info-code Consults Limited is seeking to hire an operations Supervisor for its client who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day security operations of the company, ensuring the effective deployment, supervision, and performance of security personnel across all assigned client sites.

In this role, the Operations Supervisor acts as a key operational link between field personnel, clients, and management. You will maintain daily oversight across assigned client sites in metropolitan Kampala, enforcing rigorous security standards and rapid incident response protocols. Key responsibilities center on upholding staff discipline, streamlining guard deployments, facilitating hands-on training, and maintaining high standards of client service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily deployment, allocation, and supervision of security guards across assigned client sites.
Conduct regular and unannounced site inspections to assess guard attendance, alertness, discipline, uniform compliance, and adherence to security procedures.
Ensure all security posts are adequately staffed and that shift handovers are conducted professionally.
Monitor compliance with post orders, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and client-specific security requirements.
Conduct induction and orientation training for newly recruited security guards.
Organize and deliver refresher training on security procedures, access control, patrol techniques, incident reporting, emergency response, and customer service.
Train guards on observation skills, threat identification, conflict management, and appropriate escalation procedures.
Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, conduct, and general performance.
Enforce company rules, regulations, operational standards, and codes of conduct.
Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and operational challenges within the assigned area of responsibility.
Maintain proper records of site inspections, staff attendance, incidents, disciplinary matters, Coordinate with the Operations Manager and Human Resources Department on staffing requirements, training, staff welfare, and disciplinary matters.
Monitor the condition and proper use of company equipment and other operational resources.

Qualifications

A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant work experience in private security operations, preferably in a supervisory or team leadership role.
Demonstrated experience in supervising, deploying, and managing security guards.
Practical knowledge and experience in training security guards, including induction, refresher training, and on-the-job coaching.
A minimum of a Diploma in Security Management, Criminology, Law Enforcement, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent relevant professional training and experience may be considered.
Relevant security training or supervisory certifications will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of security operations, risk assessment, incident management, access control, and emergency response procedures.
Must know how to drive or ride a bike, with valid permits.
Familiar with Kampala majorly the Metropolitan part will also be an added advantage.
