Job Description

We are seeking 20 Receptionists for a one-year apprenticeship program sponsored by the Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities (MoTWA) and Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development (MGLSD). This program offers a unique job training opportunity in the hospitality sector, culminating in a UVTAB level II Certificate upon successful completion.

An opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist.

Working within a supportive team, the post-holder will be expected to plan and prioritise their own workload, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and maintain high standards in every task. Previous experience in a comparable position is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a professional and courteous manner
Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments
Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Assist with administrative tasks as required
Provide information about the organization and its services

Qualifications

Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Tourism, Leisure, or Hospitality from a recognized University or Institution
Graduation year between 2022 and 2026
Currently unemployed
