A private clinic located in Bulenga is hiring a full-time female Clinician / Midwife to handle general outpatient consultations and maternal healthcare. The role involves managing daily patient care, conducting normal deliveries, and administering treatments within a community health setting. On-site staff accommodation is provided for this post.
Your work day covers antenatal checkups, labor monitoring, family planning services, and general clinical diagnoses. Working alongside nursing staff, you will attend to walk-in patients, update medical charts, clean and dress wounds, and handle emergency cases that come to a primary care clinic.
This role suits a registered clinical officer or certified midwife with a diploma or degree in clinical medicine, nursing, or midwifery. Experience in a private clinic or a Ugandan health center III fits this position well, especially for a clinician comfortable working independently during late-night deliveries or sudden medical emergencies.
Being based at the facility in Bulenga allows for quick response times when emergency maternity cases arrive at night. Practical hands-on skills, solid clinical knowledge, and clear communication in local languages like Luganda will help you manage daily patient interactions and build trust with the surrounding community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide antenatal, delivery, and postnatal care to mothers.
- Examine, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with various medical conditions.

Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Clinical Medicine or Midwifery.
